In ONLY 3 Days…

you CAN stop feeling guilty about being a Mom and a business owner,

get clarity on what really matters in your life and business,

and bring it all into balancewithout apologies or excuses!

For the past three years, I’ve been working with entrepreneurial moms (and dads) in a variety of businesses. Time and again, I hear the same things:

One week I think I have a perfect plan for the exact things I need to get done - and then things come up that HAVE to get done right away.  So then I spend more time revamping the plan and planning.”

“I want to be able to build my business and be a mom to my kids – and feel like I’m able to get it all done without sacrificing anything.”

I feel like I’m not living up to my potential as a mother because I’m spending so much time on my business.  I’m not living up to my potential as a business owner because I’m spending so much time with my kids.”

“I don’t know how you get so much accomplished! You’re growing a business with kids – how do you do it all!?!”

“I still feel like I’m trying to just fit my business in here and there, and that definitely shows up in my results.”

“I feel like I’m working really hard but that I’m still not getting the results I would like.”

“I am concerned that I am not as present as I would like to be in any area of my life.”

Ready to go from this...

... to this? Read on!

Frankly, I’m sick of it – and YOU should be, too!

As a Mom to two adorable boys, it’s not always easy to balance the demands of my family with my career. It takes work, focus, and sometimes more than a mustard seed’s worth of faith to see me through the end of the day. But in the end it’s all worth it. How do I do it? I discovered the 5 key areas that I believe EVERY woman needs to address if she’s going to be successful in life – and business.

The Five Key Areas of Success

Frankly, the number one reason mom entrepreneurs suffer so much is because we choose to suffer. Hear me out on this. Self-care is one of the first things we neglect and one of the most important considerations for our well-being. As Moms, we’re notorious for putting the needs of others in front of our own – in our personal as well as professional lives. But ignoring these key areas long enough is the equivalent to suicide.

Family - Taking care of yourself means nurturing those special relationships, the people close to you. But it also means setting boundaries that will protect and nurture you and your vision for the future.

Finances – Your business is only a part of the financial picture. Family finances, planning, and understanding how your business fits into the entire financial picture are critical pieces to the financial puzzle that you can’t ignore.

Faith – What you believe shapes so much of who you are and the life you live. Who believes in you is almost equally important. Ignore this area at your peril.

Fun – Call it self-care, call it getting away, a girl’s gotta have some fun!

Fitness – Physical, mental, spiritual – what kind of shape are you in?

To me, these are the core components to a balanced life. Finding time to give time to each of these areas gives a woman a sense of peace, contentment and stability – even amid the chaos of juggling a family and a business. But typically, an ‘unbalanced’ woman will devote too much time and energy in one of these areas – and start feeling guilty, angry or resentful about the others.

You Might Be A Renaissance Mom If…

  • … you’re an entrepreneur, trying to juggle family and business demands.
  • … you feel like you’re trying to fit your business in “here and there” around your kids.
  • … anytime you’re not taking care of your family, you’re trying to work on your business.
  • … you’ve sacrificed ‘me time’ (self-care) on too many occasions.

It’s not that you want to erase all the challenges – in fact, you might find them invigorating at times. At the heart of the matter, you need to feel like you’re not alone in this journey, that someone else understands what you’re going through, and is there to help you navigate the rough waters and hold the vision for you when times are tough. You need tools, strategies, and support that fit your life and the way you do business.

If that sounds like you, join us August 27-29, 2010, in Flint, Michigan, for an exciting, motivating, and inspiring event for mom entrepreneurs.  You’ve never experienced anything like this before. Filled with how-to’s, tips and tools, we’re going to break down barriers, build up self-confidence, network like crazy, and have a great time doing it.

From Reluctance to Renaissance

Being a reluctant business owner isn’t making you a better mom. Being a reluctant mom isn’t making you a better business owner. The Renaissance Mom Experience is aptly named because it’s uniquely designed to take you from reluctance to renaissance – a re-birth and renewal of your spirit, your faith in yourself, your business, your vision, and more. This is more than just a conference. It’s an experience for business women and entrepreneurial moms, featuring tools, tips and stories that help you embody the qualities of what it means to be a true Renaissance Mom: business and family in balance, without excuses.

This three day event will have you laughing, learning and connecting with other Renaissance Moms in an environment to help you grow your business, extend your network, be proud of who you are, and recognize the value you bring to your work and your world.

With tools, how-to strategies, and information you need to successfully navigate the work-life balance issues that are unique to mom-preneurs, The Renaissance Mom Experience will inspire you to take action and live your life without excuses or apologies.  You’ll learn more about the 5 key areas and walk away with a road map to help you find your own sense of balance in life and business. It’s about finding balance, valuing yourself, and learning how to clear the clutter in your life to focus on what matters most.

Hear directly from our Honorary Renaissance Mom of the Year, Scott Stratten. Plus, participants will be able to vote for the first-ever Renaissance Mom of the Year representing the values of Renaissance Moms everywhere.

The Renaissance Mom Experience: What To Expect

Each day, we’ll be looking at different components of what makes a balanced life for mom-preneurs. This is one part workshop, one-part retreat, with plenty of time for networking, connecting, and having fun! Each session is long enough to dig into the meaty issues, but short enough to keep you engaged – without having to fight entrepreneurial ADHD (another topic we’re going to explore).

Balance Business AND Your Life

For each session, we’ll all be gathered together, learning, sharing and connecting with one another. We’re providing a safe, secure environment for you to discover what’s really important to you, and how to express it fully in the world. You’ll be able to learn from other Renaissance Moms in the room as they share their stories, offer support and guidance, as well as cheer you on to greatness. Plus, we’ve sprinkled in plenty of downtime, breaks and the important refreshers entrepreneurial moms need to digest content, forge helpful connections, and make the most of this transformational event. In fact, you can view the 3-day agenda here.

Build Your Business Network

Join us on Thursday night for a pre-event “Tweet-up”. Get the chance to meet some of the locals and early arrivals to the event. Take advantage of the networking opportunities throughout the 3-days, or join us at the optional structured networking and Q&A session after dinner on Day One. Plus, we’re hosting a silent raffle to raise funds for our charity of choice, which means prizes, giveaways, and a whole lot of FUN. Did I mention one of our activities includes giving away free money?

Plus, every attendee gets a complimentary listing in the Provider Directory of the Event Guide and Workbook. This is a great way to connect with people you didn’t get a chance to meet at the live event! Support other Renaissance Moms and grow your business, too!

Shop the Vendor Area

There’s no selling from the stage at this event. Instead,  join the fun between sessions, when our vendor area will be open for you to find resources, ask questions, shop, browse and fill your suitcase with tools to propel your business and your life to a new level.

Register in advance: 3-Day Pass Only $300 $99!

With a line-up of powerhouse speakers, and all the incredible content, I could easily charge $5,000 or more for this event. Heck, just ONE hour of time with ONE of our speakers costs more than that! We’re bringing you 3 full days packed with information you’ll put into practice before you leave. At my last 3-day event, tickets sold for $1297! If any tickets are available on the day of the event, they will be $300 at the door.

But I have a vision, a mission to reach out and share my mentors with as many of you as possible. Frankly, a $1,000 price tag is just too much for so many working moms – and if you’re like me, you would rather spend that kind of money on your family anyway.

We made some magic happen, and thanks to an anonymous sponsor, we are able to offer the entire event for only $99. That’s a “no-frills” general admission seat. You’ll be on your own for your room and meals, but we’ll provide an afternoon snack on each of the three days. You’ll also get a copy of The Renaissance Mom Experience Event Guide and Workbook, a resource that will serve you well for the entire 2010-2011 season.

Heck, even if you could only make it to ONE day of the event, the Event Guide and Workbook alone is worth the price of admission. Filled with helpful tips, articles and resources you can use, the book is a complimentary bonus to all attendees. Use it to take notes, make connections, and create your own work-life balance roadmap.

So for less than the price you’d pay for one night’s stay in some Vegas resort hotel, you can have three full days of training, tools, and success strategies downloaded into your brain – and still have enough left over for your meals!

Tickets, if available, will be $300 at the door
